The band VOILA! was formed four years ago, when slovak singer Zdenka Trvalcová met in Prague the accordionist Michal Mihok. At first, they played French chansons in the untraditional forms . Then they started to dedicate themselves to their own original work. They are preparing their first album Décollage which is going to be released on 25th October 2014 in Prague with the current instrumentation of vocals ,accordion, guitar, bass and drums. They like different music styles of the 20th century and their music can be described as retro mix of chanson, swing, jazz, twist, reggae, hip hop and pop. In January 2014, the band won the Český tučňák (Czech penguin) award for 2013.
