Audrey Horne plays powerful, heavy, melodic, in-your-face hard rock, with an attitude! The band was formed late in 2002. Live, they are a self-confidante energy bomb, and a nice break in today's jungle of shoe gazing rock bands

For their debut album "No Hay Banda" Audrey Horne received two Norwegian Grammy nominations in the categories for Best Newcomer and Best Metal Act, and took home the Grammy for Best Metal Act! Audrey Horne's home base is Bergen, Norway, a town made (in)famous by bands like Immortal, Enslaved, Gorgoroth and other great metal bands in recent years. Audrey Horne, although a different type of metal band from the other bands mentioned, is every bit the quality act you've come to expect to come out of this town, and they pack a powerful punch!

Founded by the Valeta brothers the aim of living their musical passion at full volume. With Dolphin & Raw as a powerfull & groovie rhythm section '77 reflects an the ideaology and musical concept of the 70s , an environement they artistically feel way more comfortable to live in. More than anything, a pure and genuine passion for that great era dwells in their rock n roll souls and it definitely
shows in their playing style.

'77 have started to work on his third studio album along with his producer Nicke 'Royale' Andersson' (ex NIHILIST/ENTOMBED, ex HELLACOPTERS now IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC). It haven't title or release date yet but will be recorded at Gutterview Recorders in Stockholm, Sweden, as his last
record, 'High Decibels'. This is what the band think about it: "This album is more electrifying, direct and noisy than the debut with a good old sound, recorded live in the studio without effects, tricks... just the whole band playing in a natural and wild way, you can hear feedbacks, noises..." So this is what you get if you play a '77 LP!

Heavily swamped in the 70s sound, 77 have often be compared to AC/DC - Bon Scott era - and the band really don't mind such comparison as their musical behaviour is genuine and pure, each band member live for that kind of vintage sound.
