House of Waxx

Every Monday we involve different DJs, labels, residents or record shops to host a night with like-minded artists, BFFs and respected colleagues in Globus. The focus lies in vinyl DJing, buddy atmo and just flat-out good vibes. All in hyperfat sound, brought to you by Void Acoustics. Spin that mofo! Martin Landsky’s extensive discography reads like a chronological guide through electronic music’s hottest sounds, and through Germany’s most vital labels; from deeply chilled dub house for his own Efforil/Intim imprint, through sampladelic disco-influenced sounds for Dessous, to his long association with Poker Flat that journeyed with him through electro experiments, driving techno, and flirtations with minimal.

Whether uplifting and anthemic, dark and contemplative, or somewhere in between, Landsky’s unwillingness to be pigeonholed has taken him to the uppermost echelons of Berlin’s club scene, and higher still to a new association with Mobilee Records. Returning to House Of Waxx: young DJ Pascal Hetzel made his first mark with his remix for KiNK and Sierra Sam’s “My Space” on Upon.You, which was initially released as a digital-only track, but it did so well, that Upon.You head honcho Marco Resmann decided to press it as a one-sided white label, which now has been repressed twice.

With continual international gigs coming his way, he is a talent to watch. Berlin DJ and Upon.You booking manager Fabiano is no stranger to our club, his style can surely be described as drifty, pumpin’ tech-house, often with a touch of more house than techno, but a sound that brings fans to his gigs in almost all of Berlin’s top clubs.
