Alexey Volkov has steadfastly
pushed his hard-edged style of modern, industrial-rooted techno since
first appearing on The Hacker’s “Zone” label in 2009. Quickly picked up
by the French EBM and techno legend Terence Fixmer for his Planete Rouge
imprint, his recent work is his most assured, experimental, and
probing, bringing his industrial and EBM influences to the fore more
than ever while probing the formal restraints of techno itself.

Blush Response is Joey Blush,
Cuban-American artist and sound designer. His music is characterized by a
modular synth heavy approach to sound design, combining rough,
glitch-heavy beats with thick, distorted synths to create a sound that
blurs the lines between electronic genres.

And we welcome back again with pleasure to the Tresor decks Spanish DJ Artik,
now Berlin-based and whose unsettling ambience and hammering percussion
break up the rhythms that define Artik as a young artist still
remaining of the top watch list.

John Daly
is a DJ and producer from Ireland, and the co-founder of Feel Music. A
singular producer all the way, echoes of his “Words” EP from 2007 in his
label still resound, with its vastness and film soundtrack feeling that
begs for repeat listening.

Releasing on plenty of other quality
labels, the recent “Everlasting” on Secretsundaze reveals a lush
musicality that puts him in a league of his own. Berlin-based DJ and
producer Oliver Deutschmann
has made his mark by running and releasing on the imprints Falkplatz
and Vidab (with Stephen Hill), and numerous releases and remixes for the
likes of Soma, AIM, or JackOff to name a few. His uncompromising
selections range from deep dubby house to big room techno, keeping the
pulse on new sounds while always paying respect to the past, which can
also be heard in productions on his collaborations with Ed Davenport, or
monikers Gowentgone and SubBroomAssosciation.

Co-owner of the Maeve label, The Drifter is Mark Flynn, an Irish producer, DJ and singer. The Drifter‘s
DJ style, like his productions, definitely lean towards the hypnotic,
melodic and emotive side of electronic music. He ran the Passion Beat
parties in Berlin for over 3 years with his buddy Mano Le Tough,
creating a reputation as a DJ that has steadily grown and brought him
all over Europe.

Iron Curtis’
pieces originate in a place simultaneously tuned to the sounds of
Detroit, Chicago and Hamburg. One half of the well acclaimed Achterbahn
D’Amour outfit, he intertwines Deep-House with soulful Techno in a
disturbingly enchanting manner, his sound moves in the equilibrium of
reduced, but never minimal. Flashes of kitsch brighten the dark universe
of Iron Curtis, but fail to interfere with the melancholy subtext.
