Paddington is planning to get his Aunt Lucy the perfect book for her 100th birthday, and works a bunch of odd jobs to have enough money to buy it. But when the book is stolen it is falls down to him and the Brown family to catch the thief.

Ben Whishaw returns as the voice of the marmalade-eating Peruvian bear. Others actors back in familiar roles include Sally Hawkins, Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Hugh Grant, Peter Capaldi and Jim Broadbent. Watch out for both Joanna Lumley and Richard Ayoade appearing in fun cameos.
