When Saints Go Machine

After releasing their "It's A Mad Love" EP in 2018, following a five-year album hiatus and a break from touring continuously, WSGM will be releasing their first full length album since 2013, entitled "SO DEEP" on Danish label Escho. With the release of the oppressed and distorted poptitle track "SO DEEP" in early February, it's looking like WSGM have once again found a way of capturing human catharsis through the finely tuned genre splicing experiments that gained them notoriety and worldwide critical acclaim.

To support the release of "SO DEEP", WSGM will be touring Europe for the first time since their extended break.

First of all we can't wait to put this album out and play shows outside Denmark again. "SO DEEP" has been a long time coming. The process slowly began in 2017 when we started working with our friend composer Christian Balvig on writing an hour long symphony piece for the Copenhagen Philharmonic orchestra. New insight into the extensiveness of voicings, textures and acoustic range of classical instrumentation, inspired a new approach to how we look at producing music grounded in electronics. We feel like we have invented a new common language together that became a blueprint for "SO DEEP" as an album, but it definitely also changed our way of thinking about the dynamics of playing shows.
