Ein Programm für Jazzenthusiast:innen, Swingtänzer:innen und alle, die es werden wollen! Sing me a swing song and let me dance zelebriert das Great American Songbook der 1930er- bis 1950er-Jahre und bringt Jazzhörer:innen und Tanzfans zusammen. Anna Margolina und ihre Band spielen Rhythmen, bei denen niemand stillsitzen kann, im Zeitgeist einer vergangenen, aber nicht vergessenen Ära.
Der Abend eröffnet mit einem Konzert, die Partnertanzschule SwingStep gibt einen Lindyhop-Crashkurs, im zweiten Teil des Abends: Social Dancing für alle.
Let`s celebrate the Great American Songbook of the 1930s-1950s by bringing jazz listeners and swing dancers together - honoring the tradition of the old times. Anna Margolina and her ensemble will lead you through the moving history of jazz and swing music – they`ll be playing rhythms, that never go out of style.
The evening starts with a concert, you`ll get a dancing crash course, then the dance floor will be open for everyone.
If dancing is not allowed due to the pandemic, the program will take place as a concert with show acts.
