BRAVE NEW WORLD is probably the most prescient and powerful science fiction novel ever written. The story follows the fortunes of several Alphas in the near future – Alphas being the genetically engineered and cloned leaders of society. The Betas, Gammas and Deltas are at their service. But one Alpha, Bernard Marx, is a misfit. He starts to question society’s values almost by mistake. Bernard discovers a so called “Savage” on a deserted island. Savage’s need for love, threaten to bring down the whole edifice of society. But the powerful are not going to allow that to happen, are they? The battle is on and it is played out to a bloody end. TNT, directed by Paul Stebbings, revive their highly successful production for a European tour in 2012/13. Now that we are closer to Huxley’s imagined future we can give it a shape, form and feel. It is not far off! So our setting is only just in the future and reflects our current world. This is a dynamic and exciting theatrical event that combines a specially composed electronic score by Paul Flush with powerful physical theatre, choreographed dance, startling imagery, tragedy, comedy and even a dash of reality TV. Kultur:Stadt : Erwartungen wurden übertroffen, Ausstellung war auch für Nichtarchitekten sehr interessant. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr gute mediale Aufbereitung der ausgestellten Bauwerke. Hilfreich? (0) (0) -

Kultur:Stadt : Eine höchstinteressante und umfangreiche Ausstellung, die eigentlich wenn man die Modelle nicht unbedingt in "natura" sehen möchte, gänzlich im Internet hätte gezeigt werden können. Das Tablett muß unbedingt ausgeliehen werden, da kaum Informationen an den Wänden. Die Stimme und Haltung des Kurators ist allerdings zum einschlaffen monoton. Wegen der Fülle des Matrials ist ein mehrfacher Besuch und die Teilnahme an diversen Begleitveranstaltungen und -ddiskussionen zt am Pariser Platz mehr als sinnvoll. Hilfreich? (0) (0) -

Kultur:Stadt : Die Ausstellung war interessant und gab viele Denkanstöße. Auch der Veranstaltungsort selber war neu und interessant für uns und wir werden sicher noch oft dort Veranstaltungen besuchen. Hilfreich? (0) (0) -

Kultur:Stadt : Die Präsentation gefiel. Die ausgestellten Modelle waren vielfältig, sie zeigten einen Querschnitt über interessante Bauwerke. Leider war die Beleuchtung der Objekte etwas zurückhaltend, ansonsten alles gut. Orangenbaum. Hilfreich? (0) (0) -

Kultur:Stadt : Und wieder hat man am Museumspädagogen gespart, bei einigen Modellen auch an der Beleuchtung. Wir hatten auch keine Lust, einen Tabletcomputer mit uns rum zu schleppen, nur weil man sich die Beschriftung sparen wollte. Trotzdem hatten wir Spaß am Betrachten der Architekturmodelle und kamen zu der interessanten Erkenntnis, dass alles was rechteckig und langweilig war aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum kam. Scheinbar können wir alles außer Architektur und Ausstellungen. Hilfreich? (0) (0)
